Brought tears to my eyes

When an app makes you tear up while reading the tutorial you know its going to be good. This app has everything I need for when I am having a panic attack. I used to have several apps to do everything this one does. Thank you so much for this app!!

Best coping app Ive come across!

This app is amazing. The daily "diary" feature is great, because Im not to good on writing about my day, but it has helpful categories that you can rate. Its a great way for me to talk with my counselor later, to help me remember anything that went wrong, or what went right. I highly recommend this app for anyone who just needs a break from stress or anything else that affects your way of thinking.

I am so thankful for this app

It has really helped me cope with my depression, anxiety and dissociation, and it calms me down whenever I need it. Everything about it is great, I highly recommend it to anyone who needs mental health support

Well thought out & Informative

Very thoughtful and practical app! Great material all throughout the app on dealing with depression/anxiety as well as recognizing the triggers and patterns that come with them. I love that there is a diary within the app so you can keep track of each day and what types of things might have caused a bad mood day which is great for hindsight. There is even a forum to connect with other people using the app and to get support from.

Good app; thank you for making this!

I personally did not get much benefit from this app. However, I could see it being helpful for many people who suffer from anxiety, OCD, and other mental illnesses where cognitive coping techniques are beneficial. The app is very well designed, and contains several tools that may be of benefit to some. Thank you very much to the developer for making this, and for executing on the idea well. I really appreciate it.

Amazing App

This app is extremely helpful, I just downloaded it yesterday and it is already helping me to get a hold on my mental health problems. I highly suggest this app to anyone who feels alone and is struggling with mental health issues.

!!!!

This app is amazing!! I wish I knew about it before!! Im so glad I came across it, it really helps and it actually knows how to help and Im so happy I could cry, thank you :)

Amazing.

The daily diary is fantastic. Coping strategies and techniques on demand for those who suffer from anxiety and need a break in the moment. Will be donating and hope that the developer keeps up with this app. Fantastic!

Thank you

I just started using this app, and Ive tried a lot of mindfulness and stress and anxiety managing apps in the past and theyve been less than successful. Just reading the intro you know that it was made by someone who actually knows how to deal with anxiety and depression(and other stuff too). The exercises for grounding yourself and putting things into perspective, and the thought changers are just like things Ive been told in therapy. And since I can have my therapist with me 24/7 this is like having my own mini therapist to remind me I can get through anything.

I LOVE this app!

I found this app on reddit and I have loved it since day one. I show it to other people and I have also given it to my counselor to recommend to other people. If you know someone who is struggling with something, show them this app! It could literally be a life saver!

!!!!!!!

This app is AWESOME! I wish more people knew about this. Soooooo many resources and tools for almost every topic. Love it!!

More Like Life Coach

As the proverbial trivial threat, who is an iOS/Chrome app enthusiast, and licensed mental health provider as well as consumer, I think apps could become critical tools in bridging the didactic-practice gap that seems to stall the progress forward of community therapy. Ive probably also checked out the majority of apps toward that end, among which Whats Up is singularly unique. While it doesnt reference CBT standards of care or practice guidelines, it nails just about every principal. Its the first app whose diligent used seems worth actual outcomes analysis in controlled trial. The need for affordable, interactive & effectively therapeutic tech tools is very real, and Whats Up represents the industrys most impressive early effort yet to delivering some.

Very buggy

I just downloaded this for whats probably obvious reasons - to try and get better, since I cant afford therapy right now. Im hoping that itll help except theres one problem - it routinely comes up with an error saying something went wrong and I have to restart the app. It mainly happens when I try to add positive habits.

Amazing at Calming

Im a very anxious person and tend to feel sad a lot. This app TRULY helps me get out of the bad ways in stuck in and show me the good in my life. It has excellent calming techniques that are brief but useful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED APP FOR ALL ANXIOUS/DEPRESSED PEOPLE!

My Favorite App

This app has helped me with my emotional stability day-in-and-day-out. Ive always wanted something like this so Im glad I found this app! The features include advice, exercises, journal entries, a forum, etc. There is so much information included. The interface is nice and clean too. It would be nice if the app had relaxing music as well, but thats not really needed.

Thank You

The concept of this app warms my heart immensely. The fact that everything on it is free really shows that the main goal wasnt to make a profit, but to truly help those in need of it. My anxiety attacks have been increasing in frequency, and Ive been using this app every time I have had one and honestly its been changing my life. The journaling and coping strategies are available to me wherever and if I start to get disappointed in myself or embarrassed for having an anxiety attack I read the quotes and affirmations. Theres so much information and so much help here and it has truly changed my life. Thank you.

Amazing!

This app is the best. The resources are extensive. Its totally anonymous. The forums relate to me and the environment is safe, welcoming, respectful, and caring. I feel valued and understood. The other tools are great. Its literally mental health support at my fingertips 24/7. The developer allows the user to choose to make a small donation which is totally worth it many times over!!

Recommend this app for patients

I work in healthcare, I love this app for my patients, particularly the "Get Grounded" section. Such a great way to remove oneself from overwhelming anxious thoughts. The feeling of losing control is often what accelerates those thoughts & this allows them to regain some control!

holy crap

Thanks whoever made this youre the true MVP

so helpful

just wanted to rate because it is helping me through a rough time
